The original styled guesthouse is situated in a quiet valley of Horní Malá Úpa in the Krkonoše national park (Giant Mountains), 950 m above sea level, close to the highest czech mountain Sněžka and the polish border crossing.
In winter time you can choose from slopes and crosscountry trails. A slope with technical snow is 0,3 km far from the guesthouse. A Skibus transport will get you to the lift and other ski centres. In summer and autumn you can enjoy the nature and wildlife walking or cycling through the mountains.
In the village there is a guarded parking place, bus stop, post office, daily open shop, ski and bike rental. Restaurants serve local food and drinks. Horní Malá Úpa situates now the highest positioned brewery in Czech republic “Trautenberk“!
In 2003 a new sports gym opened in Horní Malá Úpa. There you can play tennis, badminton, squash, football, basketball etc., they also offer a whirlpool, sauna and a fitness studio.
In Trutnov, the main city in that area, there’re good conditions for shopping with large shopping center, nice boutiques and shops. There’s also a swimming center and near the town you can hire horses for riding and play golf in a club.
We invite you to enjoy your holiday in the Giant Mountains. You’re welcome.
